Computerized Turning
| We can turn your parts quickly and
efficiently on our computerized turning center. Interactive graphic
programming helps shorten setup times and reduce setup scrap. High
pressure coolant allows us to use carbide insert drills for fast
drilling of solid stock. The programmable live tailstock and
3500 RPM capability allow high speed turning of parts up to fifteen
inches long. The machine has a ten-inch chuck and bar work can be up
to 2.5 inches in diameter. |

Computerized Milling & Drilling
| Milling, drilling, tapping, and thread
milling are easily accomplished on our vertical machining centers. The
15 horsepower motors, 21 station tool changers, 40-10,000 RPM spindles,
high pressure thru-spindle coolant, 4th axis rotary chuck, and up to
40"(X) x 20"(Y) x 28"(Z) work envelope combine to give
us a broad range of capabilities.
Our CNC experience since 1979 aids in
machining a variety of materials...from plastics, brass and aluminum
alloys...to steel, stainless steels, tool steels, and exotic alloys. We
also take advantage of carbide insert tooling whenever practical to
decrease cycle times and reduce production cost.

Metal Stamping
|
We started as a tool and die shop, so,
getting into metal stamping seemed a natural for us. After all, we
needed
the press to check out the stamping dies we were making for other
companies. Adding a coil line and using dies we make put
us into the stamping business.
What makes us unique in our region is
our
experience with in-die tapping. We currently manufacture several
different
tab-style weld nuts that sheet metal manufacturers use to easily add
threaded holes to their products. It's all done in an interchangeable
progressive die set of our own design.
We are glad to stamp out your parts as
well! Send us your drawings!

Surface Grinding
|
We grind hardened tool steel die parts
on
a surface grinding machine. Our machine has a capacity to grind parts
up
to 12" x 24" & up to 9 inches high. Flat surfaces or straight line
shapes can be ground to close tolerances. A regular job
we currently do on this machine is sharpening "guillotine" style blades.

Other Capabilities
Secondary operations
may include tumbling to deburr or polish; milling slots & flats;
drilling and tapping; sanding; welding; and assembly.
Additional capabilities include CAD design & engineering; Arc, gas,
& TIG welding; plastic welding; and we have cast small urethane
rubber
& plastic parts, engraved letters & logos (on our VMCs), and
have experience with a variety of other processes. After
nearly
30 years in business, we are familiar with many manufacturing and
secondary
operations.
